James Thomas Hales, age 91, of Bull Head City, AZ, formerly of Warren, AR, died Tuesday, February 2, 2010 at Silver Ridge Village in Bull Head City, AZ. He was born October 17, 1918 in Warren, AR, a son of the late James Franklin Terry Hales and Lucy Stuard Hales. He was a retired mechanic and a Christian. Also, preceding him in death was his wife, Joy Hales, who died October 25, 2004. Survivors are 3 sons Eddie Hales of Warsaw, IN, Tom Hales of Santa Capitola, CA, Billy Rex Hales of Joplin, MO; 2 daughters- Mildred Brogan of Redding, CA, Barbara Perry of Mohave Valley, AZ; 3 step sons Jimmy Norton, Memphis, TN., George Norton, Hawaii, Wayne Norton, Santa Cruz, CA. 1 step daughter Lynn Lahey, Temperance, MI., 1 brother- Roy Hales of Palm Springs, CA; 1 sister Lurean Brown of Sumpter, AR; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Funeral service was 1:30 p.m. Sunday, February 7, Frazerís Chapel with Rev. Gary Jordan officiating. Eulogists were Kim Stolfus and Billy Hales. Organist was Linda Barrett. Burial was in Outlaw Cemetery at Sumpter, AR by Frazerís Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Mark Hales, Donald Curry, Jerry Curry, Sammy Dennis, Burl Brown Jr., and Camron Miller.
