Willie Mayo Parker, age 72 of Warren, Arkansas died Thursday, August 20, 2009 at home. He was born November 29, 1936 in Bradley County, a son of the late Mayo Austin Parker and Lula Belle Anders Parker. He was veteran who served in the United States Air Force, a Baptist and a retired engineering technician for Texas Instruments, Dallas, TX with 26 years of service. He was preceded in death by: 3 brothers, Fred Austin Parker, Thomas Watson Parker, and Marion Jasper Parker.1 sister, Joyce Vernon and 2 grandchildren. Surviving is his wife, Ramona Michele Baker Parker, whom he married on December 23, 1974; 1 son Damon Avery Parker, Willow Springs, MO; 2 daughters Shelly Janine Brown, Bonham, TX and Stacey Carolee Hackler, Traskwood, AR; 1 brother Huey David Parker, Dayton, Tex; 2 sisters Helen Forrest, Star City, AR. and Rosie Lee Monceaux, Lake Charles, LA; 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Graveside services were 10am Saturday, August 22, at Parker Prospect Cemetery near Warren. Rev. Randy Cox was the officiant. Active pallbearers were Avery Parker, John Michael, Shane Hackler, Charles Carlile, Hewey Parker and Aaron Hammill.
