Obituary:
Reverend Jerry Ray Hines age 57 of Hermitage, Ark. died Tuesday, July 14th at the John R. Williamson Hospice House in El Dorado, Ark. He was born December 14, 1951 in Bradley County Arkansas a son of the late Charlie Edward Hines and Mary Adeline Lambert Hines. He was a loving pastor, serving in two Baptist churches in Bradley County, Shady Grove Baptist Church at Jersey, Ark. and Union Hill Baptist Church at Ingalls, Ark. He was a great farmer, who earned his degree in Agriculture from the University of Arkansas in Monticello. Also preceding him in death was his brother James Lee Hines and a sister Willie Renee Frisby. He is survived by 3 nieces, Karen Stanley and spouse Kerry, Hermitage, Ark.; Connie Harrelson and spouse Steve, Rye, Ark. and Vicky Hays, Las Vegas, NV. 3 great-nieces Leslie Huitt and spouse Matt, Hermitage, Ark.; Crystal Raney and spouse Ben, Rye Ark and April Spence, El Dorado, Ark. 3 great-nephews Travis Stanley and Chad Stanley both of Hermitage, Ark. and Brandon Stanley and spouse Stormy, El Dorado, Ark. 6 great-great- nieces and 3 great-great- nephews. Funeral services were 10:00am Friday, July 17, 2009 at Frazerís Chapel with Reverend Wayman Mann and Reverend Gene Boyette officiating. Musicians were Nina Harrod, Bernadine Jones and Franklin Stanley. Burial was in Gravelridge Cemetery by Frazerís Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Linwood Dees, David Dees, Jerry Hollingsworth, Jim Bob McDougald, Jimmy Sanders, Jim Anders, David Berry and Wilson Richards. Honorary pallbearers were Bro. Bobby Meggs, Tom Dees, Gordon Anders, Bill Jeffreys, James Ederington, Charles Scroggins, Alan Maxwell, Jerry Mann, Gerald Frisby, Jimmie Ferguson and Jerry Vickers.
