Lonnie Eugene Wages, age 67, of Herbine, AR. died Saturday May 30, at J.R.M.C. Born September 22, 1941 in Jackson Parrish, LA., a son of the late Elisha M. Wages, Sr., and Sinnie Ann Perritt Wages he was a retired Freewill Baptist Minister, bricklayer and member First Freewill Baptist Church of Warren, AR. Survivors are his wife Bertha Dye Wages whom he married May 28, 1961. 2 sons Rodney Eugene Wages, Herbine, AR., Lonnie Ray Wages and spouse Christi, Cypress, TX., 4 brothers Jasper Wages, Corbin, KY., Elisha M. Wages, Jr., Winnfield, LA., Ray D. Wagers, Herbine, AR., Albert A. Wages, Chatham, LA. 1 sister Jeanette Kelly, Dotson, LA., 4 grandchildren Kristie Nicole Wages, Austin, TX., Heather Brooke Wages, Texarkana, TX., Jared Christian Wages and Elisha Ray Wages both of Cypress, TX. Funeral services were 10:00 a.m. Tuesday June 2, Frazerís Chapel with Rev. Billy Aulds, Sr., Rev. Tommy Williams and Rev. Billy Wilson officiating. Linda Barrett was organist and soloist were Tommy Green and Nicole Williams, pianist was Joyce Haynes. Burial was in Enon Cemetery at Rye, AR. by Frazerís Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Joe Nichols, Jonathan Nichols, Gary Terry, James Terry, Joe Waltman, Jr. and Michael Lucas.
