Clarence L. Thomason, age 90, of Warren, AR. died Wednesday March 11, at Bradley County Medical Center. Born January 27, 1919 in Warren, Ar. a son of the late Walter Howard Thomason and Carrie Elmyra Glover Thomason he was a retired International Paper employee with 20 plus years service, lifelong electrician, member Immanuel Baptist Church, World War II Army veteran serving in the Aleutian Islands and the widower of Almeta Nixon Thomason who died January 1, 2002. They were united in marriage April 2, 1944. Also, preceding him in death were brothers Howard Thomason, Roy Thomason, Lester Thomason, Richard Thomason, sisters Mae Taylor, Ouida Cornish, Inez Smith, Clio Lain, Myra Stedman, Bertha Brown. Survivors are 1 son Jimmy Thomason, Beebe, AR., 2 daughters Nancy Thomason Anders, Warren, AR., Becky Thomason Bryant, Poetry, TX. 6 grandchildren Kari Thomason Houston, Stuttgart, AR., Jay Thomason, Liberty, MO., Steven Anders, Warren, AR., Justin Anders, Warren, AR., Sarah Bryant, Austin, TX., Beau Bryant, Austin, TX. 4 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were 10:00 a.m. Friday March 13, Frazerís Chapel with Rev. David Richey officiating. Linda Barrett was pianist and soloist was Robyn Anders. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery by Frazerís Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Jay Thomason, Sloan Houston, Steven Anders, Justin Anders, Beau Bryant, Sarah Bryant and Ed Lain. Active pallbearers were Dr. Dichelle George, Dr. James W. Marsh and Menís Adult Sunday School Class at Immanuel Baptist Church. Memorials preferred Immanuel Baptist Church or Bradley County Medical Center
