Obituary:
Travis Lee Beard age 75 of Warren, Ark. died Friday, January 9th in the Bradley County Medical Center. Born December 9, 1933 in Bradley County Ark, a son of the late Carl Edward Beard and Birdie Lee Ferrell Beard, he was a retired employee for the Bradley County Park System, a U.S. Navy Veteran serving in Korea and member of Immanuel Baptist Church. Also, preceding him in death was a sister Edwardine Lindsey. Surviving is his wife, Shirley Pearce Beard whom he married July 13, 1957. A daughter Rosan Bynum and spouse Phillip, Paragould, Ark. 2 grandchildren Sundy Bynum and Kyle Bynum. 2 great-grandchildren Lane Bynum and Foster Bynum and a niece. Funeral services were 1:30 p.m. Monday January 12, Frazerís Chapel with Rev. David Richey, Rev. Victor Hunter and Rev. Phillip Bynum officiating. Janice Sullivan was organist, Bob Haygood and the Immanuel Baptist Church Choir sang. Burial with flag presentation was in Willoughby Cemetery by Frazerís Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Billy G. West, Charles OíNeal, Jimmy Reep, Randall Herring, Mike Lathan and Harold Bryant. Honorary pallbearers were Alan West, Wayne Reep, Jim Bynum, Dr. Kerry Pennington, Freddie Mobley, Tony Orr, Bobby Hargrave, Roy Gardner, Pat Ballentine, Jr.
