Edna Hazel Edwards Godfrey, age 86, of Johnsville, Arkansas died Sunday January 4, at Bradley County Medical Center. She was born November 6, 1922 in Bradley County, Arkansas a daughter of the late Harvey Oliver Edwards and Lillie Edna Jones Edwards. She was a member of Martins Chapel United Methodist Church, a homemaker who loved to work in flowers and cook and a loving mother and grandmother. She married William Mansfield Godfrey on August 30, 1942 and he died December 5, 2008. Surviving is a daughter Nina Kay Outlaw and spouse James, Crossett, Ark; 3 grandchildren Todd Outlaw and spouse Ashley, Conway, Ark, Tim Outlaw and spouse Leslie, Hamburg, Ark. and Ben Outlaw, Waldron, Ark; 4 great grandchildren Mallori Outlaw and Maci Outlaw both of Hamburg, Ark. and Lydia Grace Outlaw and Caroline Outlaw both of Conway, Ark. She was also preceded in death by 2 brothers Lucious William Oliver Edwards and Grady Henry Edwards. Funeral services were 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 6, at Frazerís Chapel with Rev. Wayman Mann officiating. Janice Sullivan was organist and soloist was Leslie Outlaw. Burial was in Pattsville Cemetery near Hermitage by Frazerís Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Todd Outlaw, Tim Outlaw, Ben Outlaw, Bill Jones, J.W. Barber, Charles Ferrell, Mickey Cathey and Roger Mann
