Obituary:
Pauline Stedman Hollingsworth, age 78, of Warren, AR died Monday, November 24, at Bradley County Medical Center. Born March 8, 1930 in Bradley County, AR, a daughter of the late Milton Young Stedman and Bealer Thornton Stedman, she was a retired executive vice president for Warren Bank & Trust Co., former president Warren B & P.W. Club, former president Arkansas Bankwoman’s Association, former member Bradley County Medical Center Board, former chairperson Bradley County Pink Tomato Festival Committee and member Calvary Missionary Baptist Church. Also, preceding her in death was a sister, Virginia Taylor. Survivors are her husband, L.D. “Buddy” Hollingsworth, whom she married July 6, 1946, 1 daughter, Cindy Bates and spouse Roy, Prentiss, MS, 1 brother, Milton Wayne Stedman, Warren, AR 1 sister, Ioma S. McKinney, Warren, AR 3 grandchildren, Jeremy Edward Carter, Warren, AR, Jamie Elizabeth Aud and spouse, Jason, Rowell, AR, Roy D. Bates, Jr., and spouse Tori, Norfolk, VA and 4 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, November 26, Frazer’s Chapel with Rev. Wayman Mann and Rev. Ricky Mercer officiating. Organist was Linda Barrett. Active pallbearers were Ricky Mercer, Mark Mercer, Pat Hammons, Joe David Hammons, Klay McKinney, Wayne Stedman Jr., Bobby Taylor, and Bill Wisener. Honorary pallbearers were Gerald Barton, Gerard Sangster, James E. Smith, Dr. Kerry Pennington, and Bruce Cash. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home.
