Obituary:
Helen Williams Earnest, age 87, of Warren, AR. died Saturday September 27, at home. Born January 17, 1921 in New Edinburg, AR., a daughter of the late Lewis Arter Williams and Emma Jane Bryant Williams she was a retired nurses aid from the Arkansas Department of Health, Bradley County Division with 20 plus years service, charter member Calvary Baptist Church and the widow of Lt. Col. James W. Earnest, (Ret.) who died October 17, 1995. They were united in marriage January 29, 1943. Also, preceding her in death was a daughter in law Jane Earnest and a great-grandchild Abigail Grace Earnest. Survivors are 1 son Steven Earnest, Stephens, AR. 1 daughter Paula Garlington and spouse Doyle, Fordyce, AR. 1 brother Gordon H. Williams, Venice, FL. 4 grandchildren Shannon Earnest, Benton, AR., Lewis Earnest, Paragould, AR., Keith Garlington, Fordyce, AR., Wes Garlington, Hot Springs, AR. 4 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were 2:00 p.m. Tuesday September 30, Frazerís Chapel with Rev. Virgil Porter and Rev. Randy Murphy officiating. Linda Barrett was organist and soloist was Mark Jennings. Burial was in Moseley Cemetery by Frazerís Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Bob Powell, James Kitchens, Phillip Wylile, Ray Marcantel, David Sisson, Randall Carroll, Renious Harton and Larry Rawls. Honorary pallbearers were members Brown Lite Sunday School Class at Calvary Baptist Church.
