Obituary:
Bill Lewis Brown, age 55, of Texas City, Tx. died Wednesday September 17. Born July 22, 1953, in Crane, TX. he was a member of Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Texas City where he served as Director of Music for over 20 years. He received his Masters Degree in Music Education from Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, AR. Bill was preceded in death by his father L.Y. Brown and his father in law Earl Perry. Survivors are his wife of 34 years, Mona Brown, a son Bryan Brown, his granddaughter Mia Brown all of Texas City, Tx. His mother Bonnie Brown, Warren, AR. and his mother in law Katherine Perry, Benton, AR. Graveside services were 2:00 p.m. Monday September 22, Prosperity Cemetery near Pansy, AR. with Rev. Jerry Carter officiating. Arrangements were by Frazerís Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Ben Garner, Scrogg Davidson, Charlie Doss, Russell Epright, Terry Toney, James Perry, Greg Reep and Tim Spraggins.
