Message: Melissa and Tommy, Peter and I with Thomas and Gary are so saddened by the loss of Aunt Gertie. There is a lonesomeness after the death of one's mother that feels almost insurmountable, but I want you to know that your friends are family are thinking of you and sympathizing with you in the this time of your great loss. My love for your mother will last in my memory forever. I thank you for recognizing my mother Odessa Eubanks in your eulogy as you mother will be laid to rest on my mother's birthday. And even though she left us 43 years ago, there is not a holiday or birthday that I do not miss her. Bereavement is so personal that few of us, unless we have experienced it ourselves, can comprehend its grief. Aunt Gertie was loved by so many, her friendliness and kindness, her shares smiles and good food, no one will ever forget her sweetness and her beautiful spirit, she truly was loved by all who knew her. Message: So many memories flood my mind as I think back to the days of my childhood as I grew up in the Harmony community. It seems as if all of the people that had such a great impact on my life are leaving this old world and moving on the the best part of life! Living the dream that we all dream of. I hope that the family will find comfort in knowing that she is finally at peace and resting in the Loving Arms of the one we all should be living to be with. I am saddened by only one thing and that is one more of God's true workers have gone and it seems that the number of soldiers are less & less. God bless the Family and as your hearts mend find Comfort in your Journey to be with her as you too live your life for the Lord & Continue to fully Rely on God. God Bless You All Tanya Jones Johnson

Message: Melissa so sorry about your mom. What few times I had the priveledge to sit and talk with her I could easily tell that she was a devout Christian. At times like these I find comfort from the bible knowing that it says to be absent from the body is to be present with the lord. Your mom IS without a doubt with Jesus and smiling down on you. When I sat in her room when we were in school together. She said to me how proud she was of you. She loved you very much. Wendy and I are always here for you and your family is in our prayers.
