Obituary:
James Harold Temple age 72, of Johnsville, AR. died Wednesday August 20th in the McCellan Veterans Hospital in Little Rock, AR. He was born April 6, 1936 in Johnsville, AR. a son of Otha Temple, Johnsville, AR. and the late Dovie Mae Lowry Temple. He was owner and operator of Temple Forestry, a member of Palestine United Methodist Church where he served as a Layman and a United States Airforce Veteran. James loved his family, loved to travel and camp with Barbara, and this allowed him to do what he liked best, which was talk and visit with friends old and new. James is survived by his wife, Barbara Savage Temple, whom he married November 9, 1968. 2 sons James Kenneth Temple and spouse Shelley, Johnsville, AR. Ted Temple and friend Debbie Bruflodt, Cave creek, AZ. 2 daughters Tricia Olson, Floresville, TX. and Carol Breashears and spouse Larry, Atlanta TX. 5 grandchildren Christopher Breashears and spouse Carrie, Texarkana, TX.; Misty Vickers and spouse Lance, Christianburg, VA. Jennie Ederington, Floresville, TX., Joshua Olson, Floresville, TX., Matthew Breashears, Monticello, AR. 2 Great-grandchild Laycee Breashears, and Abby Breashears both of Texarkana, TX. He was also preceded in death by his 2 grandsons, Joey Temple and Jim Doug Ederington. Funeral services were 2:00 p.m. Saturday August 23rd at Frazerís Chapel with Reverend Charles Cauley and Brother Paul Wooley officiating. Linda Barrett was organist and soloist was Carrie Cauley. Burial was in Palestine Cemetery by Frazerís Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Tommy Ferrell, Mitch Wardlaw, Robbie Lowry, Clay Lowry, Bennie Lowry, Stacy Ferrell and David Temple. Honorary pallbearers were Scotty Ferrell, Ray Veazey, Cliff Gates, Dale Douglas, Joe Harrington, Carroll Gene Temple, Randy Cauley, Kim Hargis, Rev. Wayman Mann, Van Temple.
