Obituary:
Phillip McElroy age 80 of Warren, Ark. died Monday June 30 at Baptist Hospital in Little Rock, Ark. He was born June 14, 1928 in Memphis, Tenn. a son of the late Burt Franklin McElroy Sr. and Don Nettie Hill McElroy. He was retired with 46 years of service from Arkansas Power and Light, a Methodist and the widower of Freda Slaughter McElroy whom he married May 18, 1947 and she died February 5, 2008. Survivors are 2 daughterís Donna McGaha, Little Rock, Ark. and Macy McElroy, Warren, Ark. 2 grandchildren Scott McGaha, Warren, Ark. and Jeff McGaha, Warren, Ark. 2 great-grandchildren Cole McGaha, Greenbrier, Ark. and Maxx McGaha, Warren, Ark. He was preceded in death by a brother Burt Franklin McElroy Jr, and a sister Mollie Jane McElroy Booth. Memorial services 2:00pm Saturday, July 12th at Frazerís Chapel with Rev. Wayman Mann officiating. Visitation 1pm till service time on Saturday, July 12th at Frazerís Funeral Home. Memorials preferred The American Heart Association.
