Edith Louise Haynes Hunter, age 89, of Warren died Monday February 28, at Bradley County Medical Center. Born March 31, 1915 at Dumas, AR., a daughter of the late Otis Haynes, Sr. and Cassie Hand Haynes she was a homemaker, member First Assembly of God Church and the widow of Virgil Earnest Hunter who died September 13, 1981. Also, preceding her in death were brothers Otis Haynes, JR., Willie Haynes and sisters Helen McCool, Mabel Coleman, and Alice Barfield. Survivors are 2 sons Odis Gill and Doyle Gill both of Warren, AR. 1 daughter Shirley Hearnsberger of Banks, AR. 1 brother Clarence Haynes of Star City, AR. 7 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. 3 step sons and 1 step daughter. Funeral services were 3:30 p.m. Thursday March 3, Frazerís Chapel with Rev. Jim Bales, Rev. Johnny Chance and Rev. Anthony Hearnsberger officiating. Pianist and soloist was Keith Hearnsberger. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery by Frazerís Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Jimmy Hearnsberger, Monty Hearnsberger, Joe Gill, Anthony Hearnsberger, Keith Hearnsberger, Jason Gill, Alan Hearnsberger and David Denson. Honorary pallbearers were W.T. Outlaw, Dr. Joe H. Wharton, Evan Jones, Rex Williams and Wayne Denson.
