Grady A. Howard, age 78, of Hermitage, AR. died Sunday June 22 in Bastrop, LA. Born May 13, 1930 in Bradley County, AR. a son of the late Thomas W. Howard and Loetta Glosson Howard he was a retired shipping manager Olin Chemical Co., retired U.S. Army veteran serving in World War II., lifetime member Veterans of Foreign War Post #10442, life member disabled American Veterans. Also, preceding him in death were brothers Herman Howard, T.J. Howard, Jr., Carroll Howard. Survivors are 1 son Danny Ray Howard, Warren, AR. 3 daughters Deborah Smith, Montross, VA., Patty Morales, Buffalo, N.Y., Jennifer White, Wilmar, AR. 3 brothers Eugene Howard, Arkadelphia, AR., James Howard, Monticello, AR., Jimmy Howard, Alexander, AR. 1 sister Carolyn Wilson, Monticello, AR. 6 grandchildren. Funeral services were 4:00 p.m. Thursday June 26, Frazerís Chapel with Rev. Wayman Mann officiating. Linda Barrett was organist and soloist was Cindy Humphries. Burial was in Hickory Springs Cemetery by Frazerís Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Kevin Hoffman, Aaron Howard, David Wilson, Shannon Howard, Chad Howard and Jamie Cockrum.
