Clyde V. Mann, age 98, of Pineville, Louisiana formerly of Johnsville, Arkansas (Bradley County) died Saturday, March 5, at Oak Haven Rehabilitation Center, Center Point, Louisiana. She was born January 8, 1907 at Ingalls, Arkansas a daughter of the late Joe Vickers and Claudia York Vickers. She was a teacher, homemaker and a member of Calvary Presbyterian Church at Johnsville. She married Hugh B. Mann in 1934 and he died March 24, 1985. Surviving are 2 daughters Maggie Daughenbaugh and spouse Al, Houston, Texas. and Linda Strickland and spouse Jim, Pineville, La.; 1 brother Arnold Vickers and spouse Jean, Pensacola, Fla; 28 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren and 7 great great-grandchildren. 3 sons Hugh McRae Mann, Clinton Mann and Lyman Mann; 1 brother Harold Vickers and 2 sisters Gertrude Mann and Lena Godwin also preceded her in death. Funeral Services were 1:30pm Wednesday, March 9, at Calvary Presbyterian Church by Rev. Wayman Mann and Rev. Troy Pritt. Charles Cauley was the pianist and soloist. Travis Ivey and Dan Ivey sang. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery at Johnsville by Frazerís Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Donnie Ray Lowery, Charles Ferrell, Sonny Rainey, Sonny Bethea, and Dale Douglas. Honorary pallbearers were Carroll Gene Temple and Gifford Godfrey.
