Otharee Frances Balentine age 80 of New Edinburg, Ark. died Sunday, February 17, Jefferson Regional Medical Center, Pine Bluff, Ark. She was born March 22, 1927 in Sumpter, Ark.; a daughter of the late John Selvin Forrest and Maggie Elvaree Stedman Forrest. She was a housewife, attended Saline Baptist Church and the widow of Charles Edward Balentine who passed away in 1976, also preceded her in death a brother Russell Forrest and 3 sisters, Opal Kelly, Sue Thompson and Flora Tabor. She is survived by 4 sons, Richard Balentine, Louisiana,; James Balentine and Greg Balentine both of Mississippi,; and Kevin Balentine, New Edinburg, Ark. 3 daughters, Lynette York, Gwen Runnel and Gala Pierce all of Mississippi. A brother Frank Forrest, Arkansas and a sister Benna Graves, Arkansas. 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were 10.00am Tuesday, February 19th at Frazer's Chapel with Rev. Tim Saunders officiating. Linda Barrett was organist. Burial was in Moseley Cemetery by Frazer's Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Wayne Griffen, Jerry Forrest, Steve Parnell, Monty Balentine, Scott Stedman, Gary Ozment. Honorary pallbearers were Dr. James W.
