Timothy Dale Clanton age 54, of Warren, Ark. died January 23, 2008 at the Bradley County Medical Center. He was born February 18, 1953 in Bradley County Arkansas a son of Wayne A. Clanton and Ora King Clanton, Warren, Ark. He received his grade school education in St. Louis, Missouri and Cincinnati, Ohio schools. He graduated from J.J. Pearce High School, Dallas, Texas in May 1971 and attended the University of Arkansas at Monticello. He severed as an apprentice with the Boilermakers, graduating in 1977 and in 1985 joined the United States Army. He was stationed at Fort Ben Harrison, when he graduated as a computer programmer in 1986. Tim was stationed in Zweibrucken, West Germany, where he was one of the top Programmers in his division. After 4 years in the Army, and receiving his Honorable discharge, he returned to Arkansas and continued his career as a boilermaker. Surviving other than his mother and father is a son, Richard Clanton and spouse Phyllis, Conway, Ark. 2 grandchildren Nathan Clanton and Annie Clanton both of Conway, Ark. A sister Dr. Cathy Clanton Reeves and spouse Dr. David H. Reeves, Bowling Green, KY. 2 brothers, David A. Clanton and spouse Rose, Warren, Ark.; Mark A. Clanton and spouse Debbie, Warren, Ark. His fiancée Brenda Drake, Warren, Ark. He was preceded in death by a daughter Jennifer Diane Clanton. Funeral services were 1:30pm Saturday, January 26th at Frazer’s Chapel with Rev. Timmy Williams officiating. Linda Barrett was organist and soloist was Debra West. Burial was in Union Hill Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Dr. David Henry Reeves, Benjamin David Henry Reeves, Shane Allen Clanton, Chris Barnett, Greg Mann, Jeff Smith, Steve Hays and Tyler Hays.
