Effie Lee Cox White, age 89, of Warren, Arkansas died Monday, March 21, at Arkansas Heart Hospital. She was born February 28, 1916 in Drew County, Arkansas a daughter of the late Tom Cox and Ardelia Harrison Cox. She was a retired nurse for Pine Lodge Nursing Home and a member of the Christian Fellowship Church. She married Clyde P. White on May 11, 1933 and he died March 2, 1974. Surviving are 5 sons Robert White and spouse Betty, Warren, Ark, Larry P. White and spouse Carol, Virginia Beach, Virginia, Raymon P. White and spouse Mary Anne, Lewisville, Tex, Ted D. White and spouse Rondie, Monticello, Ark. and Clyde “Nick” White and spouse Faith, Broken Arrow, Okla.; 2 daughters Joye Lynn White Cooper and spouse Charles, Paris, Ark. and Paulette White Sutton, Boerne, Tex; 22 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. A son Roger White also preceded her in death. Funeral services were 1:30pm Thursday, March 24, at Frazer’s Chapel with Rev. Wayman Mann officiating. Janice Sullivan was organist and soloist were Kim White and David White. Burial was in 16th Section Cemetery (Drew County) by Frazer’s Funeral Home of Warren. Active pallbearers were Robert J. White, Jr., Ron White, Charles Artie Cooper, Johnny L. Sutton, Jr., Jackie Jones and Billie Jones. Honorary pallbearers were Regina Anderson, Beltina Crumptor, Deborah Holderfield, Candace Rieth, Stachia Thurmond, Sherry Brewington, Tammy Reed, Katie Abel, Melissa White, Telese Coleman, Brenda White and Wyndi Wiekes.
