Leon Ross age 82, of Warren, Arkansas died Wednesday March 23, at Bradley County Medical Center. He was born April 15, 1922 at Herbine, Arkansas a son of the late Paul Ross and Arra Spears Ross. He was a U S Army veteran of World War II, a retired mechanic for Sykes Flooring Company and a member of Willoughby Freewill Baptist Church. Surviving is his wife Perma Lee Grider Ross whom he married on September 4, 1953; 2 sons Richard Ross, Warren, Ark. and Billy Ross and spouse Diane, Perryville, Ark; 3 daughters Patsy Hargrave and spouse Sammy, Woodlawn, Ark, Kay Henry, Russellville, Ark and Teresa Bradley and spouse Johnny, Warren, Ark; 2 sisters Ophie Ashcraft, Warren, Ark and Betty St. John, Sheridan, Ark; 8 grandchildren Sam Hargrave, Tracy Hisaw both of Woodlawn, Ark., Tenay Reep of Warren, AR., Jade Henry of Russellville, AR., Jason Bradley of New Edinburg, AR., Chance Bradley of Warren, AR., Hannah Marie Ross and Sara Elizabeth Ross both of Perryville, AR. 4 great grandchildren Joseph Ashcraft, Kristie Ashcraft, Britton Hargrave and Justin Hargrave all of Woodlawn, AR. He was also preceded in death by a wife Margie Lee Moseley Ross who died in May of 1951; 2 brothers James Ross and Charles “Buddy” Ross and a sister Ethel Faye Burnett. Funeral services were 1:30pm Friday, March 25, at Frazer’s Chapel by Rev. Ronnie Blanks, Ricky Rauls and Rev. Victor Hunter. Monti Bozeman was the soloist and played the piano. Burial was in Moseley Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Sam Hargrave, Ken Hisaw, Scott White, Donnie rice, Eddie groves, Charlie Rauls and Johnny Q. Adams. Honorary pallbearers were Dr. James W. Marsh, MD, Faye Wolfe, Larry Wolfe, Lee Perry, Gary Don Fritts, W. C. Rauls, Thomas Peek, Wayne McClain, Donald Devine, Charles Lee White, Tracy White and Buddy Wolfe.
