J. D. Knickerbocker, age 89, of Bryant, Arkansas died December 25, 2005 at home. He was born April 17, 1916 in the Southern Logging Camp at Ingalls, Arkansas a son of the late Dennie Knickerbocker and Edna Smith Knickerbocker. He was a world War II U S Navy veteran, a member of First United Methodist Church, Foreman, Arkansas, a charter member of the Warren Lions Club and the retired owner of Cherry Street Liquor Store, Pine Bluff. His wife Olga Sharp Knickerbocker and a brother Ikey Knickerbocker preceded him in death. Surviving are 2 sons Joe Knickerbocker, Olive Branch, Miss. and Mike Knickerbocker, New Edinburg, Ark; 3 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Graveside services were 2:00pm Monday, October 22, at Oakland Cemetery, Warren, Arkansas with Reverend David Crooks officiating. Arrangements by Frazerís Funeral Home of Warren.
