David Paul Eddington, age 36, of Little Rock, AR. died Wednesday July 11, at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock, AR. after a courageous 10 month battle with lung cancer. Born April 14, 1971 in Hot Springs, AR. He was a graduate of U.A.L.R. with a degree in environmental science, was an environmental specialist with the Washington Group chemical weapons disposal unit, member First United Methodist Church of Warren, AR. David carried throughout his life a passionate love for the outdoors. Preceding him in death was a brother Bruce David Eddington. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Davidís oncologist, Dr. Brad Baltz, for his healing hands and constant support. Survivors are his wife Keena Beasley Eddington whom he married August 12, 1995, 1 son Bradley Eddington of Little Rock, AR. His parents Charlie Eddington and Edith Himel Eddington both of Warren, AR. 3 brothers Brian Eddington and spouse Sharon of Baton Rouge, LA, Steve Eddington and spouse Vanna of Benton, AR, Todd Eddington and spouse Patty of Parker, CO. and 9 nieces and nephews who loved their Uncle David for his mischievous and playful nature. Father in law and mother in law, Hugh Allen Beasley and Margaret Beasley, both of Sumpter, AR. Grandparents in law Bill Abernathy and Peggy Abernathy both of El Dorado, AR, and Ruby Lee Beasley of Sumpter, AR. David leaves behind many friends and family who loved him dearly. Funeral services were 10:00 a.m. Saturday July 14, Frazerís Chapel with Rev. David Ashcroft, Rev. David Crooks and Rev. Grady May officiating. Linda Barrett was organist soloist were Charlie Sapp and Jo Ellen Callaway pianist were Lanita Thornton and Joye Splawn. Burial was in Outlaw Cemetery at Sumpter, AR. by Frazerís Funeral Home of Warren, AR. Active pallbearers were Quinn Simmons, Wade Parker, Roger Gorman, Mark Davis, Jason Burnside, Ray Quick and Bobby Earl Stewart. Memorials preferred St. Judeís Childrenís Hospital; Cancer Ward.
