Kneath Emmitt “Dick” Loomis, SR. age 90, of Banks, AR. died Sunday April 22, at his home. Born December 28, 1916 in Banks, AR. a son of the late Walter C. Loomis and Eunice Bradford Loomis he was a retired logging supervisor for Potlatch Corporation with 40 years service, member Banks Missionary Baptist Church and a World War II Army veteran. Survivors are his wife Juanita Henry Loomis whom he married November 8, 1941 in Kingsland, AR. 4 sons Kneath E. Loomis, Jr. and spouse Phyllis of Warren, AR., Henry P. Loomis and spouse Kay of Nevis, West Indies, Robert S. Loomis and spouse Beverly of Springdale, AR., Robin J. Loomis and spouse Nancy of Warren, AR., 1 daughter Kathryn S. Clement and spouse Jimmy of Warren, AR. 2 sisters Erma Johnston of Warren, AR. and Myra Mulcare of Texas. 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were 10:00 a.m. Thursday April 26, Frazer’s Chapel with Rev. Greg Stanley and Rev. Tony Rhinehart officiating. Linda Barrett was organist, soloist was Rev. Tony Rhinehart and the Banks Missionary Baptist Church Choir sang. Burial with flag presentation was in McFarland Cemetery at Banks, AR. by Frazer’s Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Bruce Wright, Bradley Loomis, Eric Loomis, Doyle Gill, Michael Tullos and Jason Majors. Honorary pallbearers were Jaker Smith, A.J. McFarland, Rusty Rowell, Paul Cash, Lawrence Kiersey and Dr. Kerry Pennington.
