Joyce Outlaw Riley age 55, of Sumpter, Ark. died Friday, April 20th at St. Vincent Hospital in Little Rock, Ark. She was born August 22, 1951 in Warren, Ark. a daughter of the late Henry Elmon Outlaw and Lena Estelle Smith Outlaw. She worked 33 years as a special education teacher with the last several years as a Supervisor in the Southeast Arkansas Educational Cooperative serving the Warren, Hermitage, Hampton and Woodlawn Public School Systems. She was a member of the Saline Baptist Church and the wife of Ricky Riley whom she married August 7, 1971 in Sumpter, Arkansas. Surviving other than her husband, 1 son, Jason Riley, Sumpter, Ark. and 1 daughter, Leslie Riley, Little Rock, Ark. 5 brothers, Morgan Outlaw, Hamburg, Ark. James Outlaw, Crossett, Ark., Allen Outlaw, Keith Outlaw and David Outlaw all of Hermitage, Ark.; 4 sisters Angela Belt, Sheridan, Ark. Betty Butler, Pine Bluff, Ark. Linda Curtis, Hensley, Ark. and Elizabeth White, El Dorado, Ark. She was preceded in death by a sister Peggy Sue Outlaw. Funeral services were 10:00am Monday, April 23rd at Frazerís Chapel with Rev. Wayman Mann and Rev. Tim Saunders officiating. Linda Barrett was organist and soloist was Michael Outlaw. Burial was in Outlaw Cemetery by Frazerís Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Bill Jones, Kenneth Saunders, Jimmy Courtney, Wayne Griffin, Billy Waldrop, Jimmy Reep, Max Williams and Hugh Allen Quimby.
