Franklin Carruth Steadman, age 62, of Denver, Colorado formerly of Warren, Arkansas died Thursday, April 12, at St Josephís Hospital, Denver. He was born April 23, 1944 in Mobile, Alabama a son of the late Hill Carruth Steadman and Alice Angus Stevens Steadman. He was a Baptist, a Ink Man for the Rocky Mountain News and held a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Gallaudet College, Washington, DC. Surviving is a son David Carruth Steadman, Littleton, Colo; 3 daughters Liana DeBaeke and Betsy Steadman both of Lakewood, Colo. and Connie Anna Steadman, Greenville, South Carolina; 3 half-sisters Eloise Mann, Warren, Ark, Shirley Carmical, Bossier City, La. and Robbie Trussell, Palm Desert, Calif. Funeral services were 2:00pm Wednesday, April 18, at Frazerís Chapel by Rev. Wayman Mann and Rev. Tim Saunders. Linda Barrett was the organist and Travis Ivey and Danny Ivey sang. Burial was in Adams-Singer Cemetery by Frazerís Funeral Home of Warren. Active pallbearers were David Ozment, Gary Ozment, Bobby Ozment, Sammy St. John, Scott Steadman, Austin Pennington and Ken Ellis. Honorary pallbearers were Johnnie Forrest, Jack Herrington, Dewayne Ozment, Jack Forrest, Marvin Bryant and Wayne Griffin.
