Charlie Bray, age 75, of Warren, Arkansas died Wednesday, March 14, at Bradley County Medical Center. He was born March 21, 1931 at Bonanza, Arkansas a son of the late Isaac Stanford Bray and Fannie Perkins Bray Sanders. He was a retired mechanic and a Baptist. Surviving is his wife Mary Hamilton Bray whom he married on May 15, 1975 at Fort Smith, Ark; 4 sons Charles Ray Bray, Sr, West Monroe, La, Paul Edward Bray, Warren, Ark, Jimmy Dale Bray and Nicholas Stanford Bray both of Rye, Ark; 3 daughters Tina Hedger, Hampton, Ark, Joy Lynn Lawrence, Warren, Ark. and Carolyn Renee Steadman, New Edinburg, Ark; 2 brothers Paul Bray and Eddie Lewis both of Warren, Ark; 4 sisters Lovell Mae Mills, Mary Dyer and Billie Simpson all of Warren, Ark. and Hazel Dean VanVelt, California; 15 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. 2 sisters Mable Brooks and Frangretta Lewis and a grandson Paul Ryan Bray also preceded him in death. Funeral services were 2:00pm Saturday, March 17, at Frazerís Chapel by Rev. Joe McClellan. The eulogy was given by Eugene Smith and Linda Barrett was the organist. Burial was in Shady Grove Cemetery near New Edinburg by Frazerís Funeral Home of Warren. Active pallbearers were Jason Hamilton, Ernie Bray, Charles Ray Bray, Jr, Kyle Hedger, Dexter Lawrence, Randall Lewis and Ricky Lewis. Honorary pallbearers were Pat Ballentine, Sr, Eugene Smith, Howard Calvert and Pat Ballentine, Jr.
