Paulette Adair age 58, of Rye, Arkansas died Monday April 11th, at J.R.M.C. in Pine Bluff. She was born February 14, 1947 in Pine Bluff, Ark.; a daughter of the late Claudia Otto Browning and Dorothy Lee Clark Browning. She was a housewife and homemaker and a member of Harmony Freewill Baptist Church in Rye, Ark. Survivors are her husband James C. Adair, Rye, Ark. whom she married in 1965. 2 sons, Otto Adair, Rye, Ark. and Terrell Chapman, Rye, Ark.; 2 daughters, Annette Wright, Pansy, Ark. and Angie Nelson, Star City, Ark.; 1 sister Jean Stivers, Pine Bluff, Ark.; 6 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson. She is also preceded by a son James C. Adair, Jr. and a grandson Jeffery Mathew Durham. Funeral services were 2.00pm Wednesday, April 13th at Harmony Freewill Baptist in Rye by Rev. Johnny Jones. Tracy Nichols was the pianist and Tim Taylor and Bernadine Jones sang. Burial was in Union Cemetery by Frazer Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were John Groves, Ralph Reep, Bart Nichols, Bret Nichols, Eddie Grove, Cliff Ferrell and Larry McGhee. Honorary pallbearer was Wade Groves.
