William Terrell Wilson, age 82, of Sumpter, Arkansas (Bradley County), died Tuesday, July 19, at Bradley County Medical Center. He was born March 4, 1923 in Bradley County, Arkansas a son of the late Carroll Lee Wilson and Luella Braswell Wilson. He served in the US Army during World War II, was a retired dozer operator for Potlatch Corp and was a member of Martins Chapel United Methodist Church. Surviving is his wife Martha Sue Smith Wilson whom he married on September 24, 1949; 3 sons Gerald Wayne Wilson and Ronald Wilson both of Sumpter and James Martin Wilson, Camden, Ark; 4 daughters Kathy Grider, Rosemary Denton and Amy Sue Hammons all of Warren, Ark and Rebecca Ozment, Sumpter, Ark; 1 brother Clyde Wilson, Warren, Ark; 1 sister Patricia Ann May, Pine Bluff, Ark; 12 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. A brother Homer Wilson, 2 sisters Sarah Jane Ferguson and Otha Mae Parker and a grandchild Michael Shane Hammons also preceded him in death. Funeral services were 10:00 am Friday, July 22, at Frazerís Chapel with Rev. Wayman Mann and Rev. Grady May officiating. Janice Sullivan was organist. Burial was in Outlaw Cemetery at Sumpter by Frazerís Funeral Home of Warren. Active pallbearers were Jeremy Denton, Brad Denton, Jason Wilson, Chris Wilson, William Briant and Shannon Ozment. Honorary pallbearer was Dr. James W. Marsh.
