Grice A. McClellan, age 83, of New Edinburg, Arkansas died Tuesday, March 7, at Bradley County Medical Center. He was born March 10, 1922 at New Edinburg, Arkansas a son of the late Horace McClellan and Lois Allen McClellan. He served in the US Army during World War II, was a member of Macedonia Free Will Baptist Church and a retired head lumber grader for the Bradley Sawmill with 40 years of service. Surviving is 1 son Gary “Bo” McClellan and spouse Wanda, New Edinburg, Ark; 1 daughter Patsy King and spouse Cecil, New Edinburg, Ark; 2 brothers Joe Robert McClellan, Warren, Ark. and Eddie Lee McClellan, Hot Springs, Ark; 1 sister Alene Erwin, New Edinburg, Ark; 4 grandchildren Cindy Adair, Rye, Ark, Terri Sutherland, Hermitage, Ark, Renee McClellan, New Edinburg, Ark. and Nichole Williams, Warren, Ark; 7 great grandchildren and 2 great great-grandchildren. A wife Bernice Marie Bryant McClellan who died in l986, daughter Glenda Sue McClellan, a brother Ernest McClellan and a sister Lois Riggins Maple and a grandson Stephen McClellan also preceded him in death. Funeral services were 10:00am Friday, March 10, at Frazer’s Chapel with Rev. Billy Wilson and Rev. Joe Robert McClellan officiating. Janice Sullivan was organist and soloist were Mary Fierce and Nichole Williams. Burial was in Shady Grove Cemetery near New Edinburg by Frazer’s Funeral Home of Warren. Active pallbearers were Joanna McClellan, Ronnie McClellan, Jim Johnston, Jimmy Adair, Keith Parker, Tracey Sutherland and Bob Williams. Honorary pallbearers were Dr. James W. Marsh, Marshall Parker, Preston McKinney and Ed Calvert.
