Grady “Buddy” Weeks, Jr., age 76, of Warren, AR. died Sunday February 12, at Wagnon Place Nursing Home. Born January 20, 1930 in Kingsland, AR. a son of the late Grady Luther Weeks, Sr. and Margaret Brandon Weeks he was a retired sawyer for Potlatch Timber Corp.and a member Calvary Baptist Church. Also, preceding him in death was his first wife Dorothy Sue Mitchell Weeks who died July 19, 1984., an infant son Gregory Weeks and an infant daughter Angela Weeks. Survivors are his wife Vera Gannaway Weeks whom he married June 6, 1991. 1 daughter Pam Stillwell of Stuttgart, AR., 1 step son Bubba Gannaway of Warren, AR. 1 step daughter Deborah Black of Warren, AR. 4 brothers Marvin Weeks of Fordyce, AR., Billy Weeks of Kingsland, AR., Roy Weeks of White River, AZ. James Weeks of New Edinburg, AR., 4 sisters Dorothy Calhoun of Warren, AR., Margie Free of Warren, AR., Betty Jean Newton of Cornersville, AR., Patsy Lisemby of Kingsland, AR. 2 granddaughters Melody Reed and Faith Stillwell both of Stuttgart, AR. Funeral services were 1:30 p.m. Tuesday February 14, Frazer’s Chapel with Rev. Tee Don White and Rev. Charles Atteberry officiating. Janice Sullivan was organist and soloist was Kathy Morman. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery. Arrangements by Frazer’s Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Billy Ray Free, Trevor Calhoun, Billy Weeks, Bob Powell, Eugene Hamilton and Charles Harrod.
