Joe Bob Turner, age 90, of Warren, Arkansas died Thursday, January 12, at Wagnon Place Nursing Home. He was born April 15, 1915 at Warren, Arkansas a son of the late Bailey Turner and Mary Haley Turner. He was a member of First Baptist Church, a member of the National Rifle Association, enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a retried employee of Potlatch Corp. with 50 years of service. He married Dora Polk Turner on December 31, l938 at Warren, Arkansas and she died July 17, 2005. Surviving is a daughter Martha Ann Chronister and spouse Harold, Benton, Arkansas; 2 grandchildren Joey Chronister and spouse Jennifer, Bauxite, Ark. and Gena Davis and spouse Tommy, Mobile, Ala; 6 great grandchildren Haley Chronister and Joseph Hunter Chronister both of Benton, Ark, McKenzie Goldman, Bauxite, Ark, Turner Davis, Julia Ann Davis and Emily Glenn Davis all of Mobile, Ala. A brother Jack Turner, a sister Allean Hunt and a great-grandchild Heather Chronister also preceded him in death. Funeral services were 1:30pm Saturday, January 14, at Frazerís Chapel by Rev Marty Reep and State Representative R. Gregg Reep. Janice Sullivan was the organist and Larry Killian the soloist. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery by Frazerís Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Bob Kimsey, Mickey Hargraves, Joey Chronister, Hunter Chronister, Tommy Davis and Turner Davis.
