Tommie Fred Reaves, age 81, of Warren, Arkansas died Saturday, January 7, at BCMH. He was born November 20, 1924 in Drew County, Arkansas a son of the late Virgil Reaves and Willie Mae Kemp Reaves. He was a retired independent pulpwood contractor and a member of First Baptist Church of Warren. He married Floy Lucille Laws Reaves on September 8, 1950 and she died November 17, 2005. Surviving is a son Glenn Reaves, Conway, Ark; 2 daughters Patricia Chandler and spouse Jerry, Camden, Ark, and Marcia Smith, Texarkana, Texas; 4 brothers Ralph Reaves, Cherokee Village, Ark, James Reaves and Bobby Reaves both of Wilmar, Ark. and Kenneth Reaves, Warren, Ark; 4 sisters Janice Pike, Russellville, Ark, Betty Harrison and Shirley Bunch both of Benton, Ark. and Mary Ann Gotham, Pontiac, Mich; 9 grandchildren Stacy Smith Parker and spouse Wade, Wendy Smith Sandridge and spouse Scotty, Candys Smith, Kristy Chandler Walters and spouse Tommy, Rayna Chandler Kelley and spouse Stephen, Ginger Chandler Mantooth and spouse Brian, Matthew Lesley, Amanda Lesley and Sarah Lesley; 6 great grandchildren; a brother in law Walter Burt, Wilmar, Ark and a son in law Rick Lesley, Chicago, Ill. A son Kevin Reaves, a daughter Mable Reaves Lesley and 3 sisters Jeanette Burt, Martha Ruth Reaves and Dorothy Reaves also preceded him in death. Funeral services were 10:00 am Tuesday, January 10, at Frazerís Chapel with Rev. Wayman Mann officiating. Paige Grider was organist and soloist were Travis Ivey and Danny Ivey. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery by Frazerís Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Shawn Barrett, Scotty Sandridge, Wade Parker, Stephen Kelley, Brian Mantooth and Tommy Walters. Honorary pallbearers were Dr. David Chambers, Dr. Mark Crump and Travis Smith.
