Freddie Grider Womble, age 101, of Warren, Arkansas, died Monday, December 5, at her home. She was born February 6th 1904 in the New Hope Community in Drew County, Arkansas a daughter of the late John Henderson Grider and Eugenia Adams Grider. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church, seamstress and homemaker who resided in Warren for the last 60 plus years. She was preceded in death by husbands James Arthur Womble, whom she married October 19, 1946 and he died September 22, 1952, also Roy Isom Randall who died June 11, 1930, 2 daughters, Marion Randall Haynes and Lucille Randall Jarrett, 1 step-son Dr. James Arthur Womble, Jr., a step daughter Maurine Gill. Surviving is a daughter Sherry Gifford, Marathon, Florida. A sister Audrey Anders, Pharr, Texas. 5 grandchildren, Billy Haynes, Memphis, Tenn.,; Tamara Lieb and spouse Rick, Camas, Wa.; Tonya Taylor, Camas, Wa.; Gayanne Ferguson and spouse Donald, Overland Park, Kansas.; Sam Gill and spouse Lana, Kansas City, Mo. Several great-grandchildren. 1 son-n-law William D. Haynes, Memphis, Tenn. Funeral services were 1:30pm Friday, December 9th at Frazer's Chapel by Rev. Jim Bales. Janice Sullivan was the organist and Mary Fierce sang. Burial was in Pattsville Cemetery by Frazer's Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Bill Haynes, State Rep. R. Gregg Reep, Sam Gill Art Womble, James Tomlinson and Ronnie Grider. Honorary pallbearer was Dr. David Chambers, MD.
