Obituary:
Harry Hendricks Stevens, age 80, of Warren, Arkansas died Saturday, October 15, at Bradley County Medical Center. He was born August 16, 1925, at North Wales, PA. where he was raised at the Hershey Orphanage a son of the late Robert Stevens and Stella Hendricks Stevens. He was a US Army veteran of the Korean War, served his country in the US Army for 15 years and in l965 brought his family to Warren, Arkansas where he and his wife Pat purchased the Pine Lodge Nursing Home. In 1976 the Stevens sold the Pine Lodge Nursing Home and started a new career at Bradley County Memorial Hospital. During his career at Bradley County Medical Center he received numerous professional and civic awards. At his death Mr. Stevens was the Administrator of Bradley County Medical Center. He was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. Surviving is his wife Patricia Davis Stevens whom he married on April 25, 1960. 4 daughters Renee Charpie, Overland Park, KS., Julie Moore, Woodland, Park, CO., Kelly Hibbard, Denver, CO. and Stephanie Morman, Warren, AR. 1 brother Oliver Stevens, Hatfield, PA. 4 sisters Dorothy Metz, Francis Hagey, Lillie Cardell and Jean Griser all of Pennsylvania; 5 grandchildren Steven Brown, Schererville, IN. Joshua Morman, Jay Morman and Adriana Grider all of Warren, AR. and Raven Brown, Bentonville, AR. 4 great grandchildren Austin Grider, Jayden Grider and Colby Grider all of Warren, AR. and Dustin Bishop, Stuttgart, AR. Memorial services were 2:00pm Tuesday, October 18, at Frazerís Chapel with Rev. Craig Jenkins officiating. Arrangements by Frazerís Funeral Home. Janice Sullivan was organist and soloist was Kim White. Honorary pallbearers were Lavern Rice, Harold Mitchell, Keith Wright, Dr. James W. Marsh, Dr. Kerry F. Pennington, Scott McGaha, Roland Moore and Steven Brown.
