Monwalah Gorman, age 66, of Hermitage, Arkansas died Sunday, September 18, at Baptist Medical Center, Little Rock, Arkansas. She was born May 18, 1939 in Banks, Arkansas a daughter of the late William Jarvis and Estelle Simmons Jarvis. She was a member of the Hermitage United Methodist Church and was a retired superintendent secretary for the Hermitage Public System with 26 years of service. She is survived by her husband William Wayne “Billy” Gorman whom she married on July 8, 1960 at Banks, Ark; 1 son David Gorman and spouse Regina, Monticello, Ark; 2 daughters Mona Reep and spouse Marty, Warren, Ark. and Angelia Kidwell and spouse John, Hermitage, Ark; 1 brother Billy Jarvis, Banks, Ark; 2 sister Sharon Smith and Becky Repppond both of Warren, Ark; 7 grandchildren Brandon Gorman and Whitney Gorman both of Monticello, Ark, Haley Reep and Ashley Reep, Warren, Ark, Trey Kidwell, Emily Kidwell and Joseph Kidwell all of Hermitage, Ark. A brother Harry Jarvis and a sister Windy Baker also preceded her in death. Funeral services were 10:00am Tuesday, September 20, at Frazer’s Chapel with Rev. Wayman Mann and Rev. John Kidwell officiating. Janice Sullivan was organist and soloist was Alicia Mann. Burial was in Williams Cemetery near Banks by Frazer’s Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Tony Jarvis, Allen Jarvis, David Mann, Jon Baker, Nick Baker, Scotty Jarvis, Mike Jarvis, Ryan Fenton, Jackie Lee Sharp and Mark Reppond. Memorial preferred to the Hermitage United Methodist Church or the American Cancer Society.
