Robert Edward “Bob” Tate, age 80, of Warren, Arkansas died Saturday September 17, at Bradley County Medical Center. He was born April 23, 1925 in Warren, Arkansas a son of the late Elmer Tate and Margaret Rice Tate. He was a US Army Air Corp veteran of World War II, a member of First Presbyterian Church, a retied US Postal Service employee, a member and past commander of the Martin-Tate Post American Legion. He is survived by several nephews and nieces. A brother James Elmer Tate and 2 sisters Alda Witherington and Opal Cox also preceded him in death. Funeral services were 2:00pm Monday, September 19, at Frazer’s Chapel by Rev. Wayman Mann. Janice Sullivan was the organist. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home. Pallbearers were John F. Mackey, Tommy D. Clay, Rand Smith, Jeff Harris, Tate Smith and Greg Tate.
