James A. Plair, age 90, of New Edinburg, Arkansas died Saturday, July 30, at BCMC. He was born June 10, 1915 in Bradley County, Arkansas a son of the late Ora Floyd Plair and Jeaunita Beard Plair. He was a retired civil services staffer of the Soil Conservation Service and a member of First United Methodist Church. Surviving is his wife Geraldine Moseley Plair whom he married on August 29, 1936; 1 son Bob Plair and spouse Patsy, Warren, Ark; 1 daughter Nancy King and Spouse James, Warren, Ark; 5 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. A sister Beulah Sligh also preceded him in death. Funeral services were 2:00pm Tuesday, August 2, at Frazerís Chapel with Rev. Siegfried Johnson and Rev. John Kidwell officiating. Janice Sullivan played the organ and Zack Plair sang 2 songs with piano accompaniment. Burial was in Shady Grove Cemetery near New Edinburg by Frazerís Funeral Home of Warren. Active Pallbearers were David King, Zack Plair, Eddie Raines, Chris Lampkin, Kenneth Wader, Orlan Carter, Jr. Honorary pallbearers were Dr. Kerry Pennington, J.W. Lyon, Charles Sligh, Laverne Rice, Bobby Joe Clements, Harold Raymer, J.W.Greenwood and the Fishermanís Sunday School Class. Memorials preferred Warren Y.M.C.A.
