Oralee Bryant Leslie, age 77, of Hot Springs died Friday November 21, at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Born August 12, 1926 in Fordyce, AR a daughter of the late Orie E. Bryant and Lennie Porter Bryant She was a retired math and chemistry teacher serving in the Drew Central, Pine Bluff Dollarway and Pine Bluff High School school systems, a graduate of Henderson State University earning her B.S.E. and M.S.E., a member First Presbyterian Church, Pine Bluff and Delta Kappa Gamma teaching sorority. She married Willis “Convoy” Leslie on August 25, 1948 and he died March 10, 1998. Preceding her in death was a granddaughter Tara Leslie Kortenber. Survivors are 1 son Rev. William “Bill” Leslie and spouse Brenda, Hot Springs; 1 sister Olga Bryant Boles, Nacogdoches, Texas; 2 grandchildren Dr. Brooke Leslie Whisenhunt and spouse Blaine, Springfield, MO., LT.jg Kyle Porter Leslie and spouse Misty, Corpus Christi, Texas; 1 great-grandchild Ashton Brett Leslie, Corpus Christi, Texas; brother-in-law Kenneth Leslie and spouse Charlotte, Texarkana, Texas; sister-in-law Dorothy Leslie, Springdale, Ark.; 2 Nieces Lynn Boles Howell, Nacogdoches,Texas and Robin Boles Ellis, Coldwater, Michigan; 2 great-nephews, 1 great-niece and 1 great-great nephew. Graveside services were 10:00 a.m. Friday November 28, Oakland Cemetery in Fordyce with Rev. Bill Leslie officiating. Arrangements by Frazer’s Funeral Home of Warren. Active pallbearers were Blaine Whisenhunt, Tim Howell, John Howell, Chris Howell, Steve Ellis and Jeff Adams.
