Linda Rose Outlaw Curtis
Funeral Date: 11/17/2018

Linda Rose Outlaw Curtis, was born Thursday 15 Jan 1945 at home in Sumpter, Ark to Henry Elmon Outlaw and Lena Estelle Smith. Her younger sister, Sissy Jean recalls that in her youth she and Linda, along with the dogs would spend the hot summer evenings on the large front porch of the old house watching the stars. “In her mind, we were going to the Methodist church where she was sprinkled and all that. We knew all about heaven from going to services in the mule-drawn wagon to Martin’s Chapel. You see, she was scared of the dark and very afraid of ghosts. She believed that when you died, what you became was a star because there were so many of them. And there was nobody that was going to be any brighter and shine like the North star, because nobody was gonna outdo her.” Chuckling she added, “You have to let her go, and be her star, because she’s gonna out shine everybody.” Linda, who had accepted Christ as her personal Savior, became her bright shining star on 13 Nov 2018, at 12:21 p.m. in Little Rock, AR after a long- extended illness at Baptist Hospital.
