Roy Morris Miller, Sr. age 89, of Warren, Arkansas died Saturday, February 28, at BCMC. He was born January 28, 1915 in Ashley County, Arkansas a son of the late Harry Fay Miller and Eva Byrd Miller. He was a retired employee of the Bradley County Road Department and a member of First Baptist Church. Surviving is his wife Elizabeth “Libby” Orr Miller whom he married on March 14, 1944 at Warren; 1 son Roy Morris Miller, Jr., Washington, D C; 1 daughter Pam Miller Cook and spouse Danny, Warren, Ark.; 2 grandchildren Lori E. Cook Lewis and spouse Jim, Ozark, Mo. and Jennifer Cook Donagan and spouse Kevin, Little Rock. Ark; 1 great grandchild Lillie Elizabeth Donagan, Little Rock, Ark. He was preceded in death by 3 brothers his twin Troy Miller, Crenton Miller and J. B. Honeycutt. Funeral services were 3:30 pm Tuesday, March 2, at Frazer’s Chapel with Rev. Gregg Stanley officiating. Janice Sullivan was organist and soloist was Robert Green. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were William Miller, Bill Wisener, Larry Carr, Bubba Johnson, Jim Lewis and Kevin Dunagan. Honorary pallbearers were Pat Ballentine, Sr., Charlie Ezell, Billy Bob Hoyle, Pete Godwin, Dr. David Chambers, Eddie O’Neil and members Caleb Sunday School Class at First Baptist Church. Memorials preferred to the First Baptist Church Building fund or the Bradley County Veterans Memorial Museum.
