Coy Fike McClain, age 83, of Little Rock, Arkansas died Thursday, March 4, at the VA Hospital at Little Rock, He was born May 16, 1920 in Bradley County, Arkansas a son of the late Henry Bester McClain and Gracie Mae Roberts McClain. He was a retired United States Navy Chief Petty Officer with service in World War II and the Korean War and a Baptist. Surviving is a daughter Kathleen McClain, Marion, Iowa; 1 sister Mary Belle Parnell, Warren, Ark.; 2 grandchildren; a special friend Fred Boyd, Little Rock, Ark/ and his caregiver Lorie Caulden, Benton, Ark Funeral services were 1:30 pm Sunday, March 7, at Frazerís Chapel with Rev. Wayman Mann officiating. Janice Sullivan was organist and soloist were Gwen Thornton and Donna Raines. Burial was in Union Cemetery at Rye by Frazerís Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were David Parnell, Bill Montgomery, Foster Smith, Wayne Withers, Lloyd Roberts, Mike Montgomery, Rodney Parnell and Ron McClain. Honorary pallbearers were Fred Boyd, Cecil Carmical, Bob Powell, N.I. Smith, Henry Eugene Young and Weldon Sledge.
