Frank Hamaker, age 81, of Hot Springs, Arkansas died Tuesday, March 9, at St Joseph’s Hospital. He was born October 31, 1922 at Banks, Arkansas a son of the late John Elbert Hamaker and Augie Beatrice Ogles Hamaker He served in the U S Army during World War II, was a Baptist and a life long car salesman. He is survived by a special friend Tommie Caple; a daughter Sharon Hecker, Tucson, Aria.; 2 brothers John L. Hamaker, North Little Rock, Ark and Cloyse J. Hamaker, Shreveport, La.; his caregivers Doris and Randy Dodd, Hot Springs, Ark.; 2 grandchildren Nicole Mangham, Tucson, Ariz. and Jason Fowler, Chipley, Fla.; 2 great grandchildren James Fowler and J. R. Fowler both of Chipley, Fla. He was also preceded in death by a son Frank Hamaker, Jr.; 4 brothers Charlie Hamaker, Willard Hamaker, Horace Hamaker and Otha Hamaker and a sister Girle Hamaker. Graveside services were 1:30 pm Friday, March 12, at McFarland Cemetery at Banks, Ark. with Rev. Tony Rhinehart and Sean Collins officiating. Arrangements by Frazer’s Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Michael Hecker, Randy Dodd, Cloyse Hamaker, John L. Hamaker, Sean Collins and Eugene Walker. Honorary pallbearer was Don Collins.
