Obituary:
The beautiful long life of Ollie Thompson Moring, 86, came to a close at the Chapel Woods Nursing Facility in Warren, AR on September 29, 2016. She was born in New Edinburg, AR on August 13, 1930, the daughter of Benjamin Thompson and Maggie McClellan Thompson. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, and a proud grand and great grandmother, loving each new addition to the family as they arrived. She was a devout Christian and a faithful member of Macedonia Free Will Baptist Church. She loved to cook for her family and was happiest when they were seated around her table. She was an avid reader, and an outstanding seamstress making clothes for her children and grandchildren with love. She loved children, as proved by the number of children that she cared for, claiming them as her very own. She is survived by her loving husband, Herbert, married just shy of 64 years, whom she met in church where his father was preaching. They married on October 18, 1952 in front of the old house place. They had one daughter, Phyllis Stedman (Wayne) of Warren, and two sons Gilbert (Cheryl) and Delbert (Judy) both of New Edinburg. She had 9 grandchildren: Matt Cathey, Michelle Weaver, Nicole Harper, Stacey Turner, Daniel Dees, Dakotah Moring, Devlyn Moring, Hanna Moring, A.J. Moring, and 14 great grandchildren Kaitlyn, Dylan, Kade, Jay, Colby, Gauge, Hayden, Alli, Brennen, Kylee, Kinlee, Maddox, Brooks, and Madeline. She is also survived by three brothers Buddy Clyde Thompson of Warren, Victor Thompson of Pine Buff and Bob Thompson of Sheridan and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thompson brothers- Herman, Lester, Sherman, Leroy, Vernon, Van, Clarence, Wilbert, Myzell, C.B. and one sister, Lydia Barker. Funeral service was 2:00, Sunday October 2 at the Macedonia Free Will Baptist Church in New Edinburg with Rev. Landon Dutton, Rev. Ricky Rauls, Rev. Cecil Sanders and Rev. Steven Schmitz officiating. Music was by Karen Thompson, Dr. Michelle Weaver, Rev. Ricky Rauls. Burial was in Reeves Cemetery by Frazerís Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Matt Cathey, Dakotah Moring, Devlyn Moring, A.J. Moring, Dylan Cathey, Jay Thompson, Kade Weaver, Colby Cathey, Gauge Weaver and Hayden Cathey. Honorary pallbearer was Daniel Dees.

OLLIE INVITED US INTO THEIR HOME AND PREPARED MEALS FOR US WITH SO MUCH LOVE FOR US. THEY WERE ONE OF THE MOST HUMBLE AND CARING COUPLES WE HAVE EVER BEEN BLESSED TO KNOW. SHE ALWAYS HAD A SMILE AND SUCH A SWEET SPIRIT. THAT TESTIMONY WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTON AS LONG AS ANYONE THAT KNEW HER LIVES.
