Madge Booker Reynolds

Madge Booker Reynolds, age 92, of Hermitage, AR, died Sunday, September 11, at John R. Williamson Hospice House in El Dorado, AR. She was born June 24, 1924, in Hermitage, AR, a daughter of the late John Walter Booker and Nina Zevie Jarrat Booker. Madge was a homemaker, a member of Landmark Missionary Baptist Church and the widow of Jerrell Reynolds who preceded her in death on March 21, 2004. They were united in marriage December 20, 1941. Also preceding her in death were brothers Aubert Booker, Neal Booker, Jarratt Booker; sisters Ruby Bradley, Argie Rice and Rachel Kinard. Surviving are three sons Ricky Reynolds, Hermitage, AR, Jerry Reynolds, Crossett, AR, and Marty Reynolds, Hampton, AR. Five daughters Glenda Maxwell, Crossett, AR, Louneal Huitt, Hermitage, AR, Susie Matheny, Monticello, AR, Becky Gandy, Athens, LA, and Debbie Woodard, Hermitage, AR. Twenty-six grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Funeral service was 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 13, at Frazerís Chapel with Rev. Don Smith and Rev. Gene Boyette officiating. Music was by Linda Barrett, Melissa Langley, Tim Toler and Kara Reynolds & Family. Burial was in Gravelridge Cemetery by Frazerís Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were David Brumley, Dennis Brumley, Scott Reynolds, Shannon Huitt, Wade Wolfe, T.J. Adams, Casey Adams, Stacey Reynolds, Derrick Reynolds, Matt Woodard, Jeremy Reynolds, Ryan Reynolds and Drew Hoggard. Honorary pallbearers were Donnie Rice, Thomas Rice, Ed Rice, Terry Reynolds, Randy Gates, Richard Rankin, Jerry Lynn Hollingsworth, Mark Pennington, Cole Pennington and Sawyer Pennington.
