Bobby G. Endsley age 78, of Monticello, AR died Tuesday, August 23rd at his home. He was born April 28th, 1938 in New Edinburgh, AR, a son of the late Granville Endsley and Fannie Bell Burks Endsley. He was a Baptist, a Logger and a Taxi Cab owner and operator. He loved to see people smile, he loved his kids and was always glad to get to visit with them. He was also preceded in death by a son Johnny Ray Endsley, a daughter Mary Ann “Sissy” Jones, 2 brothers Billy Endsley and Kenneth Endsley, a sister Shirley Madden and a great granddaughter Kristen Endsley all preceded him in death. He is survived by 5 sons, David Endsley, Bearden, AR; Bobby Wayne Endsley, Larry Gene Endsley, and Jackie Allen Slaughter all of Monticello, AR and John Elgin Endsley of Batesville, AR. A daughter Judy Clements, Malvern, AR. 12 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Funeral service was 2:00 PM Saturday, August 27th at Frazer’s Funeral Home with Rev. David Poe officiating. Janice Sullivan was organist. Burial was in Shady Grove Cemetery at New Edinburg by Frazer’s Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Kenny Ray Barnett, Ike Moon, Jr., Bobby Wayne Endsley, Warren Rhodes, Robert Austin and Daniel Dukes.
