Renna Adams Wherry age 98 of Greenbrier, AR formerly of Warren, AR died Thursday, May 5th at the Greenbrier Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born August 17th, 1917 in Bradley County, AR a daughter of the late Henry C. Adams and Myrtle Totty Adams. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Warren; she served our country in the Woman’s Army Corp, from 1943 to 1946, she retired with 23 years of service from the Pulaski County Appraisers office and worked in the Bradley County Appraisers office in past years. She was also preceded in death by her spouse Levi. “W.T.” Wherry who died February 9th, 1982. A son Steve Wherry, 2 brothers Millard Adams and Howard Adams 3 sisters Una Belle Sloan, Ila Dean Miller and Naomi Baker. She is survived by her son Carroll Wherry and spouse Martha, Greenbrier, AR. 5 grandchildren Candice Osborne and spouse Jason, Chris Wherry and spouse Sara, Valery Sharp and spouse Curtis, Amanda Wherry and Rebecca Spinks and spouse Darren. 12 great-grandchildren. A memorial service was held at 2:00PM Saturday May 14th, at Frazer’s Chapel with Rev. Wayman Mann and Rev. Billy George West officiating. Honorary pallbearers were William Miller, Aber Gannaway, Oma May Gannaway, Eddie O’Neal, Dr. Kerry Pennington, Emily Whittney, Vickie Lassiter, Renee’ Satterlee and Sherry White.
