Dollie Mae Grider age 85, of Warren, AR died Thursday January 14th at Chapel Woods Nursing Home. She was born May 18th, 1930 in Warren, AR a daughter of Silas Anders and Gladys Lee Kitchel Anders. In her younger years she worked in the Ben Franklin Dime Store in down town Warren, was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and worked for and retired from Jack Winters after many years of service. She is survived by her husband whom she married July 28th, 1950 Edward “Buddy” Grider. A son Johnny Grider and spouse Paige, Warren, AR. A sister Elizabeth Harrison, Warren, AR. 2 grandchildren Keri Cater and spouse Brian, Monticello, AR, and Ruston Grider, Warren, AR. 2 great-grandchildren Maylin Cater and Ryker Cater both of Monticello, AR. Funeral service was 1:30PM Sunday, January 17th at Frazer’s Chapel with Rev. Wayman Mann officiating. Gwen McKinney was pianist and soloist was Brent Mann. Burial was in Parker- Prospect Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Tommy Davis, Wayne Wesson, Ronnie Kitchel, Frank Valentine, Randy Reynolds and Jerrel Stanfield. Honorary pallbearers were Dr. Joe H. Wharton, Heath Reep, Rusty Rowell and Jerry Grider. Memorials preferred the Trinity United Methodist Church or Christian Fellowship Church.
