Almer Outlaw, age 70, of Warren, Arkansas died Tuesday, May 18, at St Vincentís Infirmary, Little Rock. He was born November 5, 1933 at Sumpter, Arkansas a son of the late Andy E. Outlaw and Orlean Jones Outlaw. For 41 years he was a member, deacon and Sunday school teacher of First Freewill Baptist Church, served in the United States Army and was a retired employee of Potlatch Corporation with 39 years of service. Surviving is his wife Joe Ann Jeffcoat Outlaw whom he married on September 1, 1956 at Central City, Arkansas; 1 son David E. Outlaw, Pleasant Grove, Ark; 1 daughter Belinda Joye Outlaw Cauley, Sumpter, Ark; 1 brother Levan Outlaw, Pine Bluff, Ark; 4 grandchildren Amanda Westerbuhr, Rye, Ark, Bart Outlaw, Carrie Lea Cauley and Michael Randall Cauley all of Sumpter, Ark; 3 great grandchildren Caleb Westerbuhr, Rye, Ark, Jacob Outlaw and Randy Outlaw both of Sumpter, Ark. He was also preceded in death by a great grandchild Kenny Westerbuhr. Funeral services were 2:00 pm Friday, May 21, at Frazerís Chapel by Rev. Billy Wilson, Rev. Wayman Mann and Rev. Johnny Jones. Janice Sullivan was the pianist and Rev. Charles Cauley and Jonalyn Reep were the singers. Burial was in Outlaw Cemetery at Sumpter by Frazerís Funeral Home of Warren. Active pallbearers were Ray Allen Outlaw, Gary Reep, Daymon Parker, Randy Nutt, Wayne Griffin, Terry Kitchens, Ricky Rauls and Joe Haynes. Honorary pallbearers were Coach Jimmy Shipp, J. E. Gardner, Mutt Savage, Dr David Chamber, MD, Dr. James W. March, MD, Leon Thornton, Jimmy Wiggins, DeWayne Ashcraft, Roy Gates Billy Jack Perry, Frank Burt, Charles Leroy Craig, Jimmy Reep and Leonard ďBubaĒ Johnson.
