Michael Ray Thompson age 66 of Tomball, TX was born July 12, 1948 in Warren, AR. He went to be with the Lord on March 2, 2015. He was preceded in death by his father, CT “Tommy” Thompson, his mother, Jewel Dean Thompson and his brother, Larry Wayne Thompson, all of Warren, AR. He is survived by his wife, Thana Thompson of Tomball, TX. His daughter, Amy Cates and her husband, John of San Antonio, TX. His son, Drew Thompson and his wife, Kara, of Tomball, TX. His son, Spencer Thompson and his wife, Rachel of Prosper, TX. His daughter, Deidra Fougeron and husband, Dave of Conroe, TX. His daughter, Natalie Riley of The Woodlands, TX. His sister, Sandra Bryan and her husband, Wayne of Tumbling Shoals, AR. His brother, Ricky Thompson and his wife, Angie of Seville, Spain. He had 10 beloved grandchildren, Andy Thompson and Emily Cates, Kennedy, Parker and Payton Thompson, Violet and Ezra Thompson, Iain, Riley and Liam Fougeron. He also leaves behind nieces, nephews, aunt, uncles and cousins who loved him dearly.He graduated in 1966 from Central High School in Helena, AR. He was a salesman in the Steel Building Industry for 38 years, first with Plains Builders in Amarillo, TX and most recently with Mid-West Steel Building Co. in Houston, TX. Funeral services were 10:00AM Saturday, March 7th at Union Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Wayman Mann officiating. Burial in Union Hill Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were John Cates, Dave Fougeron, Kim Johnson, Ed Kohutek, Joe Pawlikowski, Bart Huffaker, Lain Fougeron and Parker Thompson. Honorary pallbearers were Andy Thompson, Raymond Simmons and Bob Stauenhagen.
