Sarah Meek Chenault, age 94, of Little Rock, AR, passed from this life to the next on February 25, 2015 in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was born in Batesville, Arkansas on October 1, 1920 and grew up in Warren, Bradley County, Arkansas. She was the last and 9th child of John Rufus Starr Meek (II) and Mary Lema Watson Meek. Sarah briefly attended Mary Baldwin College in Virginia. She was a clerk for the War Department and later War Assets during and after World War II. She married John Ralph Chenault on March 8, 1947 and raised her family in Warren and then Dallas, Texas, before retiring to Little Rock. She is survived by her children John B. Chenault of Little Rock, Starr Chenault Boschetti and her husband Mike of Roland, Arkansas and Lawrence R. Chenault of Little Rock. Her grandchildren include Mic Boschetti and wife Erin of Little Rock, Becca Redditt and husband Bryan of Little Rock, Lissa Gilder and husband Haden of Springdale, Ark., Sarah K. Chenault of Los Angeles and Bo Boschetti and wife Bess of Little Rock. She has nine great grandchildren. Sarah was a member of Fellowship Bible Church of Little Rock. She was preceded in death by her husband and by her father and mother, and sisters, Catherine, Ella, Mary B., Martha, Sue, Marian, and brothers Starr and an unnamed infant baby brother. Graveside services were held at Oakland Cemetery in Warren Arkansas on Saturday February 28 at 3:30 pm preceded by visitation at Frazer Funeral Home in Warren one hour before. Pallbearers include: Mike Boschetti, Edwin Hankins, Mic Boschetti, Bo Boschetti, Bryan Redditt, and Chase Boschetti. Memorial services will be held at Fellowship Bible Church of Little Rock, Arkansas on Sunday March 1 at 3:00PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials gifts may be made to Warren YMCA, 207 N. Main Street, Warren, AR 71671 and Fellowship Bible Church of Little Rock, P.O. Box 7123, Little Rock, AR 72223.

Words cannot express the sadness that is felt for your family in your loss. May the lord surround you with comfort and peace to your heart and soul in this sad time.
